The Story

Abby Carlton and Rhett Parker have an interesting romance. They met on Facebook while Rhett was deployed in Iraq and were engaged within a couple months of meeting face-to-face. Their story is beautiful, as was their wedding day.

The Story Behind the Story

Abby asked me early on to produce her wedding video.

Unfortunately, I did not get to spend a lot of time with Abby or Rhett prior to the rehearsal because Rhett was stationed in Texas and Abby was with him. A large portion of the planning was through the bride’s mother, Lisa.

During the wedding weekend, I must have shot well over 15 hours of video between the two cameras I had rolling. That resulted in some great moments and videos, one of which I have displayed above. (If you’d like to see more videos from different parts of the wedding, email me, and I’ll be happy to show you more of my wedding portfolio.)

It was a fun experience and I think the bride and groom (along with their families) would agree that my presence added a lot to the wedding party as well. While there, I got a lot of interesting stories out of the couple (and their bridesmaids and groomsmen) that really enhanced everyone’s memories of the wonderful weekend.
