Knoxville Portraits - Fine Art Portrait

Knoxville Portraits LogoI’m extremely excited to make an announcement that should surprise no one who has been keeping up with the blog in the past two weeks. It’s in the soft-launch phase, but Knoxville Fashion Week was the unveiling event for Moser Visuals‘ newest feature brand for portraits and photography.

Everyone, meet Knoxville Portraits. Knoxville Portraits, meet everyone!

Theodore Roosevelt College and Career Academy

More often than not, I am extremely blessed to get to work on projects that are very rewarding.

This happened again recently with the makeover and relaunch of Roosevelt High School (now Theodore Roosevelt College and Career Academy) in Gary, Ind. This school had been failing in achievement, test scores, and many other vital educational areas for years, so the state of Indiana took over the school and hired a Knoxville-based educational management company to bring the school back to its former glory.

As you can see in the video below, the school is a stone’s throw from the home of the infamous Jackson family, and though Michael Jackson didn’t attend Roosevelt, three of his brothers did and were present during a press event for the school this summer. The Jackson 5 performed one of their first talent shows in the Roosevelt auditorium!

I just returned from a beautiful outdoor Destination Wedding in Aspen, Colorado! It was a fantastic trip and a wonderful experience for me as it was my first wedding as a groomsman.

Despite the fact that I was in the wedding party, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to shoot a gorgeous outdoor destination wedding in Aspen! The backdrop in the Rocky Mountains near the Maroon Bells was just too incredible for me to turn down, so aside from the ceremony itself, I had my camera by my side (the entire weekend, in fact) and got some breathtaking shots. I am very excited to announce the official launch of the first Moser Visuals brand:

Knox Wedding Photo + Video

Knox Wedding Photo + Video is Knoxville’s choice for brides who want their wedding to be an amazing event that also supports those in need!

Check out the new Knox Wedding Photo + Video website: KnoxWeddingPhoto.com & KnoxWeddingVideo.com.

I can’t wait for you to get to know this new brand and the brides that want to use their wedding to do some good. I’m such a romantic, so weddings, engagements, and couples photography and videography have always been a thrill for me. Hearing the stories of how couples got together (Facebook), where they got engaged (World’s Fair Park), and where they are getting married (Aspen, Colorado) really makes doing this job that much more rewarding (coolest stories I’ve been told are in parenthesis).

Follow Knox Wedding Photo + Video on Twitter: @knoxwedding.

Because a major emphasis of the Chadasha Foundation is helping Haitian children get life-saving heart surgeries they wouldn’t otherwise have access to (their “Heartbeat of Haiti” program), it only makes sense that I tie those kids hearts in with the lovestruck hearts of brides- and grooms-to-be that will support them. Thus the slogan:

Share Your Heart & Save A Heart!

It’s not just a slick slogan—it’s true. In fact, I’m working on a documentary about the “Heartbeat of Haiti” program right now, and investments in Knox Wedding Photo + Video support the continued production of it for Chadasha!

I’m also excited to announce the following giveaway to promote Knox Wedding Photo + Video!

Today marks the launch of Knox Wedding Photo + Video, and to celebrate, I’m giving away some major wedding gifts!

The first 5 couples to book a wedding with Knox Wedding Photo + Video will receive a Romantic Engagement Portrait Session and five additional matted 11″x 14″ Keepsake Prints to put in your Keepsake Box (a $700 value) as a gift from Knox Wedding Photo + Video!

It gets better, though! These first five couples have an opportunity to get even more for their wedding day! Read more

Hey folks!

I’m feeling pretty candid about how I’m growing my business and want to experiment in a public social sphere, because I think y’all’s opinions can be really helpful to the success of Moser Visuals. Plus, once you try to do something yourself, it’s almost like you forget everything you’ve learned or thought as a consumer. Kinda like giving solid relationship advice to everyone else but being inept at applying anything resembling intelligent romantic decisions yourself.

As a part of my initial marketing plan, I’m experimenting with social specials. I’ve got a lot of ideas, but I need your help to know if they’ll be awesome or duds. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!

First up: A Foursquare Special!

“Social Promo @ Moser Visuals Studio – Foursquare 1st Visit Gift: 1 photo on your 1st check-in! ($100 value). Check in @ The Studio today!”

It’s been a long time coming.

The build-up to this moment has been like the “drumroll” before a kiss. So many events and experiences in my life have led to this day (well, not really this day, but I’m trying to be super duper dramatic here) that it has only been a question of “when” and not “if.”

This day, I’m finally posting a new blog! Oh, and I also left my well-paying and comfortable job at one of the largest cable network companies in America to start my own small business: Moser Visuals. Moser Visuals is a photo, video, and design company designed to support my volunteer role as the Director of Media for the Chadasha Foundation. Read more
